Masters in Public Administration
A Masters in public administration prepares students to manage organizations in which the bottom line is public service, not profit. Careers are available at the federal, state, and local level, which means you will have the opportunity to work in whatever capacity you desire. However, you must first earn your degree.
The courses offered below provide students with professional competencies, based on a broad understanding of the field: the complexities of urban and suburban problems, the operation of public and nonprofit organizations, the responsibilities of management, and the expectations and rights of their clients. Upon graduation you will have the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, develop and communicate creative solutions, and implement ethical and practical courses of action.
