Human Resources Degrees
For many companies, human resources is a vital department because it is dedicated to dealing with people (which includes customers, employees, business partners, etc). More specifically, human resources professionals focus on designing jobs and writing job descriptions; recruiting, screening, and hiring new employees; training employees to perform their current jobs more effectively; helping employees develop new skills to take on more responsible positions. They also create systems to monitor and improve individual and team performance, manage pay systems and benefits plans, negotiate and administer labor agreements, and generally manage the employment relationship. The courses below are designed to provide the extensive knowledge and skills needed for decision-making in the growing field of personnel.
